Is S&S at A rank a consideration of the entire set of weapons and matchups? I guess I'm confused if the Mr. Beast weapon is considered the best melee weapon in the game, wouldn't that mean S&S by definition should rank the same or higher than the other melee weapons? Is this simply a case where folks haven't had the time to break record times yet to update this list? or does it simply get crowned the best in terms of a raw weapon, but is outclassed by properly matched elemental matchups?

The math doesn't add up for a 3.3% chance for Dragon Attack and Critical Boost (6.6% combined). There's 15 items in the common pool at 5% each, which equal 75%. That only accounts for 81.6% of the pool. Alternatively if we assume a weight system where commons are 500 and rares are 333, then that would give us a total pool of 8166. Which would give us a 4.08% chance for each rare item. Which is actually a big difference being 22.5% more! Unless we decompile the code we won't know for sure.

They gave azure rathalos and black diablos a 9* HAT but mizutsune didn't get one how unfair!

Something I realized after I spent money to buy more storage and getting the gems for the 10 Instant Smelt items. Jagras is literally money farm for this event. Hunt them all when you can and sell their parts for money. Literally going to try to hunt them all for that Zenny!~

Can you suggest what best weapon for fight next elder dragon ? I have dilema between bow / lbg .

15 smelts on my Jho belt, and only 1 Aggressive Dodger and crap to show for it. I may just end up waiting for the next Dragon Attack 2 piece. Thankfully, I almost never use my Dragon set simply because every Dragon-weak monster has another option...though my Jho LS IS at 10.3 right now, making it a better option against Basarios. Thankfully, I FINALLY got that Ice Attack smelt on my Barioth gloves, letting me have Critical Eye 5 (three Critical Eye smelts, baby!), Weakness Exploit 2 and Kushala Frostwind 1. I wager I could get a point of Weakness Exploit or Critical Boost on my Coral Pukei head though. I'll probably go for Weakness Exploit since it's not limited by events...

As a GS lover and main I have to agree with the tierlist. I see GS as the sniper rifle of the game where it deals massive damage to targeted parts of the body but punishes you heavily when you don't play perfectly. I've found multiplayer is hit and miss though. If the monster is really mobile it's difficult to get charged attacks off. Not sure what a buff for the GS would even look like that would help it keep up with the S tier in DPS but not break the game lol

Is rising tide 1 with wex 1 better than wex 2? Or what about rising tide 2 with wex 1 is that better than using wex 2? Also is it worth losing social boost over 1 point in burst like example is burst 4 better than burst 3 with special boost or latent power

I’m hoping for the switch axe but with the dimensional links , the hunting horn makes the most sense.

Potentially Brachydios making an appearance soon…🔥🤯 that be awesome the blast element is great…use to love using the slime element on the 3ds 😂 memories man…if there is a chance of any new weapons coming into the game to the switch axe would be amazing 😎

Really hoping for the Switch Axe that I loved to main back then or the HBG I would love to get better with. Enemy wise would hope for Brachydios at one day, because the fight was fun for me (and I love the color scheme of this boss), but I think Nargacuga would probably arrive before that. Element wise I am not quite sure. Blast is all fun at times, but can't imagine it yet how they would balance it for such short fights, without turning it too op. Time will tell, hope to hear more about it soon.

So Blast Partbreaker will be the best build to farm pieces?! let's gooooo 🔥🔥🔥. Also I think other elements we missing is Hellfire and bloodblight that both normally activate by armor skill and not weapons.

Here are my predictions for Teo's gear: -It'll be a superior raw option to Pink Rathian's weapons due to having more status buildup (and Blast probably being better), even if it has the same raw. -The armor will be heavily offense-oriented. Teostra's gear was always very good for that - you'll see skills like Critical Eye, Critical Boost, and other DPS skills. -Its unique skill will be Fire's answer to Kushala Frostwind - one level boosts your Fire element and maybe Blast buildup by 10%, two boosting them by 15% total, and three boosting them by 25% total. As for what its other effect will be, who can say? -The LBG, however, will be Fire.
